Expanding our heritage property portfolio in the south west

We've been appointed to manage Hope House, a development of 58 homes in a Grade II-listed building and six acres of parkland in Bath city centre.

The work has been awarded by the Hope House homeowners and Acorn, an independent development and regeneration specialist known for creating high-level residential-led refurbishment and new build schemes.

The main building is an early regency home dating back to 1781 which was later used a school. This has been seamlessly blended with new build homes in the surrounding parkland and woodland, creating a unique community just minutes away from Bath’s historic centre.

Residents have the use of a tennis court, gardens undercroft parking and a concierge service, making Hope House one of the most exciting developments to come to Bath in decades.

A spokesperson for the residents commented: "Principle impressed us with their extensive property management experience at a wide range of developments across the UK. We wanted a property manager who had the skills and knowledge to manage 58 spacious, luxury apartments with an extensive range of amenities, and we feel certain that Principle has the ability to do this."

We secured the instruction by demonstrating our proven success over the last seven years and our particular expertise in managing heritage properties, which includes Lincoln House in Knightsbridge and Empire House and Dalmeny House in Kensington. Bath is a uniquely Georgian city and UNESCO World Heritage Centre and we are delighted to expand our presence in the region.

We're now working closely with Acorn and the Hope House community to carefully plan the high-quality levels of professional service that will make an immediate difference for new residents. We’re keen to demonstrate our continued commitment to managing exceptional properties that require specialist heritage expertise alongside modern property management excellence. If this sounds like we’re the right managing agent for your property, then we would love to hear from you – contact Joe Jobson.
