Meet our Lettings team

Our Residential Lettings team brings together over 100 years of combined industry experience and we have specialists in all aspects of lettings, from managing relationships with landlords, residents and contractors, to managing the finance and admin that comes with letting a property.

What makes the team effective isn't just their knowledge of the market, it's the fact that they genuinely enjoy the work: the variety, the people, the problem-solving, and the relationships that outlast any single tenancy.

From lettings and marketing through to mid-tenancy management, end-of-tenancy, and re-letting, the team handles every stage of the lifecycle. They look after some of Birmingham's most distinctive addresses, including the Calthorpe Estate, alongside new build developments, student accommodation, and high-profile commercial clients across the West Midlands.
Below, you'll meet the people behind the service.

Lucy – Lettings Director

What’s your role at Principle Estate Management?
I’m the Lettings Director at Principle Estate Management, where I lead our lettings team, including property managers, lettings specialists, and client accountants. Together, we deliver a fully integrated property management service across the entire tenancy lifecycle — from marketing and lettings, through mid-tenancy management, to end-of-tenancy and re-letting.

How long have you worked in property?
My journey in property began in 2001 with a chartered surveyor. In late 2002, I joined Pennycuick Collins as a Lettings administrator, quickly progressing to property manager, and later heading up the team as Associate Director and then Director. Moving my team to Principle Estate Management has been a real privilege.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
I really enjoy supporting my team’s development and helping them grow in their roles. Building strong, long-term relationships with our clients is also a key part of what makes the job so rewarding.

What’s your go-to weekend activity?
Weekends are usually spent taking my two boys to their sporting activities — football, rugby, boxing, and badminton — and keeping on top of the housework. I enjoy eating out so like to try new restaurants and a glass of wine too

Looking after someone’s home and going above and beyond to solve their issues is so rewarding and I love building great connections with people. I’ve made some long-lasting friendships over the years with tenants, clients and contractors that have transcended my professional role, and there’s no better feeling than making someone’s day with how you’ve been able to help them.
